It's like mafia, only faster! Here's how it will go, there will be seven roles. A moderator, a paranoid cop, two crazy cops, one naive cop, one mafia liar, and one regular cop. I'll explain what each of these do soon(not as crazily as James' post though). Every night(which will be first in this game) the mafia will PM me with the person they would like to kill. Every day, the cops and mafia will openly discuss in a new thread who to "lynch." They can also vote to not lynch anyone, which is the best in the case that you don't know who is the mafia for sure. One incorrect lynch and the mafia wins.

When the game starts, ONLY the mafia will receive a PM saying that he is the mafia, the other players will not know which role they are. Every night, the cops PM the moderator who they would like to "investigate." The cop will receive a PM saying that they are guilty are innocent. The naive cop will always get innocent back, paranoid cop always gets guilty back, crazy cops always get random results back, and the regular cop gets the real results back. The catch is, you don't know which one you are. The mafia can lie about his results in the thread. I guess the cops could too, but it hurts the team wayyy more than it could possibly help, so you're best off posting the real results you got. I'm definitely forgetting something, but this is all I can remember, if you have any questions(any at all) ask them here. If you want to sign up, make sure you state that explicitly in your post. I can't moderate this game because I'm busy with the other game, so if you're one of those people who love knowing everything and at least semi creative, this is a good role for you. So, in this game, there will be only 1 mafia, correct? Means, if the mafia is dead

Nothing like James' did, but some interesting ways on how people have died would be nice. Here's how the games gonna go.

You PM the who the mafia is and personally(so just you know)decide which person is which cop.

Day: You PM them back their results and post who has been offed. This goes on until they all "Lynch" the mafia, Lynch the wrong person, or the mafia offs them all. In a tie, I think it's No Lynch.

 

Please make into detail (but concise) each role and the rule of the game.

There is one mafia. If the plurality of cops decide to Lynch the correct person(the mafia) the game is over, and the cops win.

I think I got all of the roles completely covered, so the rules are as followed:
No PMing except to the Mod.
Talk during Night is OK.
Lynching a fellow cop results in the mafia winning.
The mafia fakes results and pretends he is a cop.
Cops don't know which type of cop they are.
Cops "investigate" a player, and receive information whether they are innocent or guilty, and should post this information publicly.

Sorry for being so incompetent but I'm not sure if those are all the rules

They can vote to "No Lynch" which is obviously to not lynch.

i mean either 3 wrong guess (so three cops lynched) ends the game with a win for the mafia

OR all the cops dead wins for the mafia

 

Or.. we could play that if you lynch a Cop he doesn't die, you just know he's not a mafia member. I don't care for either especially, but I thought you might want to hear that version too.
