A quick search reveals that used & unlocked 8Gb iPhones are going for ~$400 and 16Gb for upwards of $500, with never-opened phones going for even more.

I just checked eBay again and those prices are down only slightly. Never-opened unlocked iPhones are still fetching $400-500 and somewhat less for previously used phones. If you've purchased an iPhone 3G in the past few days, you still have an excellent shot at getting most of your money back from your first phone (provided you can get it unlocked, which isn't difficult).

Looks like the same exact phone to me.

I've had mine now for about 4 months and it is great whenever the reception works. There are many "dead" zones with ATT that I'm finding.

    Looks pretty sweet.
I don't carry a phone myself, though. I'm hard on breakable things and at that price I'd sure hate to drop that puppy in the toilet.

Perhaps attaching an elastic rubber band to it might keep it from falling.

I just got mine. I like it, it connects to my uni server and I can synchronise all my uni email, calendar and contacts. I can also connect all my other emails, post on sciforums through Safari [hehe] and there are lots of fun apps to play around with. The picture is like Hi-Def and the sound is awesome!!

    I'm in love!!!!:thankyou:

Now all it needs is a mirror and a coffee maker.

It has a camera which you can take your own picture with then post it on the opening page to always see yourself. The volume isn't that great but with the ear buds it is OK. I use the small Apple ear piece with speaker to talk through not the speaker phone.

Great idea. You should market that.
No, I've got more reasons than one to not carry a "celly". I just don't like them, in general.
Having so many functions though, this one is quite intriguing.

It has the apps which tell you about the area your in, places to go, what's happening there as well as many other interesting things about any areas you put into it. Bars, night life, movies ETC. are alsio nice to know about in places you have never been to. It's built in GOS tells you where you are also and puts a map about the streetys and such as well. Many apps that prove to be valuable for free on it.

Haha its not free! The data plan costs a good amount. They make it seem that it comes along with so much stuff but you're paying for every bit of it especially the GPS which doesn't compare to BlackBerry's TeleNav IMO.

No. This is what I have and it works great and doesn''t give off radiation as the phone does. It is Apples blue tooth ear piece.
