A random question I was asked by a friend a moment ago: what if your best friend wasn't real. For instance what if your best friend was nothing more then schizophrenic hallucination? What would you do with your life, substitute best friend with a significant other or whoever means the most to you. Personally I would be totally thrown off guard and probably be admitted to some sort of ward...
what if I found out he/she wasn't real? How would I be convinced if I was schizophrenic? If I was, and if I believed my friend was real, I'd just keep thinking my friend was real.. :bugeye: If I knew he/she wasn't real, it'd mean I just want an imaginary friend and would still be happy.
Kinda like Jimmy Stewart in Harvey?? Well, I suppose if I found out my best friend wasn't real, I would start to wonder if my parents were, if my kids were, if my hubby was, etc. I'd be a paranoid mess.
How? You yourself are thoroughly convinced that this person is real, and that you are seperate. What changes that suddenly?
I thought that's what you meant, anyways, YOU BROKE THE FIRST RULEPlease Register or Log in to view the hidden image!
Damn, you should go out and buy/rent it, it's a good movie, although if you have kids i'd suggest not letting them watch it, it's 18A for good reason
Agreed... I also sort of agree with Anti-Climactic... even if other poeple started calling you by your hallucinations name they could just be confused... i know i do that from time to time *cough, cough*:wallbang: Please Register or Log in to view the hidden image!
I'd question if everything in my life was real or make believe, probably have a nervous breakdown, and either give in to my insanity or seek help...that is if the help I sought was even real or just another illusion...
