Being a man I would let the woman decide because she will have to take care of the child as well as myself. I'd let her decision stand and help her with whatever she chose.

the cost of a down's syndrome baby is many times more than that of a normal child though, I think that if you are the provider for the family, you have the right to be involved in the decision

I told Lucifer before she conceived her child to do the same thing, but she did not listen to me, she went with the baby...now she suffers the concequences...its not down syndrome thou its some kind of hyperactive disorder thing.

Yes. It is better to die than to live a life of decay.

No. The most friendly, funny person I know has Down's syndrome.
Other people I know with it are pretty much the same.

Not sure. I don't know anyone with Down's syndrome and I am anti-abortion. I would have to look into it to weigh the consequences either way. It would be a hard decision, if at all.

Why not? She asked for our opinions...just like Varda is asking us now. Why do you think Varda is asking this question? Because it is her who was told this by her doctor.

Enmos, I take life seriously, perhaps way too seriously than life should be taken...because in the end it all will end after couple of years with death. But than you know, if life is not taken seriously nothing great will be accomplished.

The question was inspired by the other thread, that seems to be most likely anyway.
And even if that was so, a doctor recommending it is something entirely different than Draqon recommending it.

By the way, prenatal scannin only reveals Down's Syndrome after 5 months of pregnancy, with about 75% certainty, I believe...

Just thought I should throw that in here

sure...Draqon's voice fades, that is why she did not listen to me. A faded recommendation now shows itself as pain in her, tears, and deep wrinkles on her face...

in the end an echo whispers to our ears of the past that could have been but is not.
