In terms of, cremation, burial, etc?
I'd say cremation, because then I won't rot away or be eaten by bugs

Cryogenics would come to mind thereby increasing my chance of someone one day reopening my container and thawing me out and somehow revive me back to life again. Or be blasted into outer space in a vacuum where I won't rot away. But they won't do either for I'm not that wealthy so they will just cremate me I bet.:bawl:

Cryogenics are risky. Do you think the people in the future will truly care enough to want to revive you?

I'm a full body donor. Whether in 1 piece to a med school or in pieces to labs, specialty med schools, etc it makes no difference to me. No funeral, coffin, headstone, urn, etc. If my husband absolutely has to, he can have a memorial service, but he knows where I stand on it.

I'd like to disappear altogether, like the Inuit do on those ice-floes.

I think getting lost in a bit of forest somewhere would be ideal (except for the problem of being fit enough to tramp through it). Then it's just a pile of bones somewhere (considering we have feral pigs in the bush here, you'd probably end up as food) Plenty of room for that option still. Or something like that iceman they found in the Alps, maybe.

A future paleontological find, perhaps, but not a corpse that will cost someone thousands to deal with, as we do.
In India, you get turned into ashes economically - the simplest cheapest way. It's a bit unfortunate they chuck it all in the river though.

I don't know. If I were the only one left inside of a working container perhaps they would if they thought they could revive me. If there were thousands then I don't think they would.

Whatever my family wants, I don't care.
That said, I picked cremation because it was the cheaper option.. lol

Have any of you seen the tv-show "Six feet under". If possible I would like to be buried like Nate was. But no change of that happening here..

Well, as I won't be there I'm not sure it's worth putting other people to a lot of bother. I think I will lay on food, booze and happy music. All I ask in return is that someone read a short poem by William Blake.

I always wanted one of those big New Orleans send offs. People dancing, music playing, umbrellas waving....

Well, you'll just have to find a way of incinerating yourself. You might want to consider a petrol drip plus a timed explosive.
