Help me understand. Noise comes from speakers like low hiss, this happened after I put in 2 more GB of ram, any thoughts?

I could buy PCI card for sound but this bites, why even bother having onboard if this happens

    Excessive answer?!

"If you can make a mini faraday cage that will fit over the audio chips/connectors, you should be able to stop most radiated noise. This wont help if the noise is transmitted electrically."

lmao, I could try it haha

Try another sound program or just reinstall the one you have.

maybe its got nothing to do with your RAM but with your mic turned on, even if you dont have one. check the mic setting on your volume control.

If you happen to have another set of speakers to try out, do it. Especially if the other speakers use shielded cables and yours don't.

Though if that were the case I don't know why it wouldn't have hissed before.
