wow ... it looks like both the players in their top form right now ... I want roger to win, but Nadal is looking great too ... Rick
Well, we will soon find out. I only picked Nadal because he is the underdog so to say. Nadal lost 2 times to Federer already at Wimbledon so perhaps the third time is the charm. Of course Federer is the favorite and no doubt he is the better player but Nadal is very close to being just about as good as him on any given day. Perhaps this will be that day, let us hope no injuries occur to prevent the match from going all the way through.
isnt nadal permanently injured in his knees? i heard something about him playing on shots and painkillers.
i dont know, it doesnt seem to have an effect ... he's already broken his serve ... Please Register or Log in to view the hidden image! Rick
Federer is so lucky! though he is so strong with his serve, from time to time Nadal holds on. that rain is the best thing that happened to Federer in this match so far. the Spanish bull was very close to finishing it in only 3 sets.
thats his nickname. The man they call Nadal is often called a bull. Well, bulls eat grass for breakfast. And so it was to be at the 2007 championships. Those pesky American serve-volleyers were mere hors d'oeuvres to the hungry cow. They'd barely passed Rafa's lips and the early rounds were cleared. The feast of SW19 continued as he chewed up his next opponent and spat him out, like a bad paella. Nadal went on to dig his knife and fork into the draw, munching and swallowing his way to the final. There standing between him and victory was Roger Federer, like a huge block of Swiss cheese served up as the ultimate cheesy challenge for the competitive gnosher. Nadal took two great chunks out of his final course on that fateful July day. However, when it came to the final push he was just too full. It was just too mature. That remains another challenge for another day. One day he will finish his meal. And on that day he'll have pudding. http://uncyclopedia.org/wiki/Rafael_Nadal It made everyone bullish again on Nadal, whose Nikes bear a special bull logo, the natural totem for a Spanish sporting supernova. But did he really deserve to have his stock downgraded in the months that led up to this? http://sports.espn.go.com/sports/tennis/columns/story?columnist=desimone_bonnie&id=2804834 google results http://www.google.co.il/search?hl=iw&q=rafael+nadal+bull&btnG=%D7%97%D7%99%D7%A4%D7%95%D7%A9+%D7%91-Google&meta=
