reinstall or check for the latest version of Flash/quicktime/divix or something like that. I"m not sure what exactly Youtube uses.

EDIT: Youtube uses flash. so reinstall with the plugin.

Which OS? Which browser? Is it simply that the volume control is set to zero in the mixer, if you run Vista?

go download the latest flash player here... Link...

    close the browser...

go to 'add/remove programs' find the flash player, uninstall it...

install the flash player you downloaded...

    you'll be good...

i sometimes have 80 tabs open in firefox, with like a dozen or so YT's open... this breaks the flash player often, so i'm an expert at this repair...

the 'how to' on YT does not work as well as the method i describe above...

Will uploading the latest flashplayer fix the entire internet audio problem?

I also have the same problem on the Safari internet browser, so it isn't just Internet Explorer.

Okay, so I downloaded it and installed it and this is what I got...

Please Register or Log in to view the hidden image!

Note the small X-sign in the corner of the downloaded program...

Well, I have similar problem. With the new FF3 using the PicLens extension, some of the videos when I click on them doesn't give correct sound but like a looped CD, repeats a short phrase. The picture is still good. I am assuming maybe my set up is incorrect or I need some kind of extra sound/video player?
