Just eating onions

Does anyone else just eat onions raw? Like, peel it, but then eat it like an apple.

No. At first it burns but I've gotten used to it, it actually is juicy and tasty. I'm just wondering if it's common or healthy.

 

well its healthy...but not as healthy as you think it is. The acid however will upset your stomach...so be sure to drink milk.

 

What are the health benefits?

 

antioxidants, gets rid of bacteria/virus infections...

 

One downside: makes your breath reek, and it's hard to get rid of
