Aparently, brain scans of homosexuals show that the brains of gay men more closely resemble the brains of straight women, if there was ever any doubt :) But, as spuriousmonkey would have pointed out, scientists have a long history of spending lots of money to design elaborate experiments to tell us things that we already know.

In particular, men and lesbians have lopsided brains (again, if there was ever any doubt) whereas women have much more symmetric brains.

Of course, I would love to hear what people who claim that "homosexuality is a choice" have to say. Surely there are probably some people who choose to be gay, but it certainly seems that on average one cannot make these statements.

Does anyone know of similar studies in the past that come to the same conclusion? Contradicting conclusions?

I don't feel comfortable around gay men or lesbian men haters. However, what if cloning brought forth the ability for those strange people to get into female bodies, no doubt it would cost a lot. Or for lesbian women to get into mens bodies? I think that would actually cure the gay and lesbian traditions, at least for a time!

My main point is that it is a strange-gross tradition that is passed on generation to generation. People aren't born homosexual.

I don't assume all lesbians hate men, but I have met a few, and for the abuse those ones have gone through, I wish them luck.
