I was arguing with a friend of mine the other day because she is a firm believer in astrology to a point where she is willing to judge people and make assumptions about them before even knowing them.

The ironic part about all this is that she is a very intelligent person asides from that.

How do you argue with people who are extremely stubborn into believing something no matter what facts you throw at them to prove them wrong?

Has she never been wrong about her astrology-inspired assumptions before? I would point out those mistakes and have her try to justify them with her beliefs.

she claims mistakes are simply a correction, she believes theres more to it than most sciences combined. She believes mistakes simply increase the overall complexity of astrology and bring out parts she did not think of... its almost as if they have it all figured out

With such a claim, my next question would be: has the number of mistakes decreased at all?
