I'm about to write or rewrite a paper on the above topic. Basically I must describe how my project activity is a naturally organised ordinary activity. I've hit a wall and can no longer 'think' in the way lecturer wants me to. How do we analyse the lived work of an activity? Any suggestions on how to approach such a topic? Taffy Wake ... How about posting what you've already written or at least an outline of what you think you might want to write for a starter? Take care, and welcome to Sciforums.
Welcome to sciforums, Taffy Wake. I would echo Chagur's thoughts. You give us precious little to go on. You need to flesh out the thought and method with which you are approaching this task.

Sociology of Everyday Life Look at how broad and general this topic is. This is why you are hitting a brickwall. Narrow it down- to a single brick, so to speak. You have to give your brain something concrete and specific to grasp onto, not just a general statement. Think beyond the lecturer. Do it in the way you want, but in the instructors guidelines. Unless you want to just be a sleeping sheep throughout your education. -Xenu
Try the "Sheep" factor, or you could try looking at the organizational processes which guide humanity to group things together.
If you're taking this class, tell us, and then ask for advice. I would feel awkward giving my naive advice to someone who actually knows.
