Amid a surprising flurry of member complaints about various posts—really, folks, I thought I checked that email box at some point more recently than some of the dates suggest—I found a most curious message. It was a note for my birthday from a discussion board from which I was banned something like seven years ago. You know, one of those automated happy birthday messages. How ... interesting.
I feel so cool And ... hooray! I finally got a 419, which my spam filters caught, but still ... I don't feel so left out of the loop. No, seriously, for all we hear about them, I can't remember getting one in recent years. Maybe ever. Update: Four phishing scams and two from a British barrister trying to get me to send him $5,000. Wow. I feel so hip.
