I was just killing some time looking at the DPRK's (North Korea's) national website. Bearing in mind that this is supposed to be a portal to DPRK history and pride, I was seriously amused to see that they sell total crap on their site. Notably, they sell animated gifs. No, I'm not joking - they actually expect people to pay for a crappy low-res animated gif. Amongst the most popular is a graphic of a fist crushing The Whitehouse! Another shows cute AK-47's being taken from a rack by a flashing red light. 'Diplomacy' is not on the menu, it seems! On the same section you can get videos for your iPod, which are almost all short fictional pieces containing the most ridiculous propaganda you've ever seen, including 'Hong Kil Dong' who "sometimes resist aristocratic rule".
