New telecommunications technology based on string theory

    My new theory!!!

    I guess you've all heard of string theory, right? Well, this new telecommunications technology involves string theory. What you do is grab the ends of "strings" at either end of the Earth for example, and attach polystyrene cups to each end! Amazing! We could all talk to each other free of charge, since there would be no need for telephone exchanges!!!

    Would the sound wave actually travel that far through the string? I thought over distance a wave would fade??

    String theory is mere wishful thinking. By the way, according to ST, matter is made of loops of string, you would have to unravle them first to communicate through them.
