MPs are voting later on whether to allow scientists to continue to carry out controversial stem cell research using hybrid human-animal embryos.

For those not familiar with the way British Parliament works - typically voting allegiances are kept in line by people called (appropriately) Whips, each bill will be described to members as a 1, 2, or 3 Line Whip - indicating the level of inmportance party allegiance is to the viote (with a 3 Line Whip indicating a bill that, if not passed would likely bring about a no confidence vote in the Government)
However with some issues (like abortion and capital punishment etc) where it is felt that personal morals and ethics are in question, MPs are usually given what is known as a Free Vote and are free to vote their conscience - as is the case with this bill.

if you were voting on this how would you vote, and why?
