Damn, that would suck being in bed for a quarter of a year. Not to mention all of the health risks involved. No way would it be worth it. Still I can see huge lines people saying "Where do I sign?"
for 90 days? without a second of standing up or being in on your kness? I don't think you can handle it.
Don't get me wrong -- I like making easy money as much as the next person, but if I ever got a job with NASA, I'd give my right eye to be something more than just a warm body.
NASA could save the money and study some coma victims Please Register or Log in to view the hidden image!
Heh.. I was just thinking that. As for the study itself? While the thought of spending days in bed is tempting.. just the thought of it.. mmm bed.. I have two small children so any chance to sleep is grabbed with both hands.. The way it is reported is that you would basically have to stay awake for a certain number of hours and be allotted sleep hours. 90 days however would be horrible and dangerous. As much as I value my sleep now days more than I ever did in the past (last month we've been averaging about 3 hours a night due to children being sick with flu and all the rest of it), having to spend 90 days in bed would be an absolute nightmare. I take it you would not even be allowed much time to shower or use the toilet?.. ugh.. pass..
That's not enough money. You would be years recovering. I was bedridden once for nine days. I don't think I ever fully got the lost muscle tone back.
