Wrong Lesion. According to the comic book (I can't remember which issue) Carnage and Venom are the "brother" villains of Spider-Man. It turns out that Carnage is a mutated version of the original alien virus that created Venom.:) :p :D :cool:

Uber is right, with the exeption that he forgot to metion that spidey was once stiken with the alien virus and turned into this bytchin black Spider-Man!

I agree Goofy, I'm supprised Doc Ock wasn't picked for the first one.......oh well.

The problem with Venom is Spider man recieved the venom symbiote first on the Secret Wars planet but spider man got rid of the symbiot because he felt it trying to take control of him, the symbiot hated spiderman for this then I forgot his name but the venom character recieved the suit because the symbiot sensed the character who would become Venoms hatred for spider man so they combined and became Venom. This would be next to impossible to explain in the next movie from what we know of Spiderman in the first unless you completely change Venoms oragain for the movie. It might work for those who arent comic purists.

No I think they could change it an do fine, the movie wasn;t exactly true to the comic I don't think any superhero movie has been - its kinda the point. You wanna see the character living and breathing and you want it to be the same characters, same world. But you wanna see something different in the movie, you know?

Agreed because Venom is badd azz!!! one of my favorites and for forgetting Eddie Brock I shall sit on a bowl of oatmeal while lashing myself with a cat o nine tails and soothe my wounds by pouring V8 vegatable juice on them because its fortified with vitamins and minerals as punishment.
