I play yahoo fantasy football.....I'm not really sure how the point system works, I jsut know that it does =p.
That was very helpful, thanks Please Register or Log in to view the hidden image! How do you select a league?
It works by looking at how many points players get in games, and how many goals are scored against them whilst on the pitch etc.
http://fantasy.premierleague.com/ You have 100 millions available. Every player has its price and according to that price, you choose your team. You earn points depending on real game scores and performance. For example: Goalkeeper: 72-90 minutes played - 2 points, Clean Sheet bonus - 4 points, 3 saves - 1 point, 3 goals conceded - -1, Yellow card - -1, red Card - -2, etc. Defenders - 72 -90 minutes played - 2 points, 0 Goals conceded- 4 points Midfielder - 72-90 minutes played - 2 points, Goal - 5 points, Assist - 3 points, 0 goals conceded - 1 point Attacker - 72-90 minutes played - 2 points, Goal scored - 4 points, Assist - 3 points Captains have double points. There are bonuses available for outstanding players with repeated good games where 1 Bonus carries 1 point. However, I'm lousy. I'm getting 50 points per game. Monthly reward is attendance to one Premiership game. Yearly reward is attendance to one Premiership game by your choice. Please Register or Log in to view the hidden image! My team usually: James - Jagielka, Vidic, Ferdinand, Lescott, Laursen - C. Ronaldo, Fabregas, Petrov - Benjani, Adebayor Subs: Green, Larsson, Dempsey, C. Cole
How many points do you have in total? My team: (GK) Howard, (DF) Ferdinand, Laursen, (some Sunderland defender), (MF) Ronaldo, Gerrard, Bentley, Joe Cole (FW) Torres, Benjani, Jones. I missed out the first month though so my total is poor.
Ever tried GameDay? I’ve personally tried a lot of Fantasy Football sites out there, but I’ve only been to play out all my football fantasies with GameDayRitual, the most challenging, most realistic and most addictive game on the Internet. In GameDayRitual, you can negotiate with GM’s, build offensive and defensive formations, build your own stadium. The simulation is so realistic, I’m very impressed. The great thing With GDR, you are able to negotiate against fellow GMs in the innovative Free Agency Blitz. No more run-of-the-mill, boring, cookie-cutter drafts. There are 22 different Formations and five Offensive and Defensive Schemes. Try to outwit your opponent each week by using the playbook that best utilizes your players' skills. With GDR you can build a Stadium, Track Fan Attendance and Manage Finances rest. I’ve also found in GDR that you can use other strategies, like all-out blitzing, dime defenses or a rotation of running backs to throw your opponent off their game. One of the best things about GDR is that everything is based on Real Life Players and Real Life Stats. I’d definitely check this one out if you’re looking for a great Fantasy Football Experience. It's at gamedayritual dot com. Let me know if you have any tips and tricks you can share. I need to toughen up my game. Please Register or Log in to view the hidden image!
