Acupuncture: is putting pins in people to cure illness.

Voodoo: is putting pins in a lookalike doll to cause pain to someone.

Identical Twins: If one twin decides to have acupuncture, does this mean the other twin is in trouble?

lets get this straight voodoo only works if you believe in it and recipient does as well, its a psychological warfare in essence.

The second identical twin of the twin receiving acupuncture is not a doll, but a live being. That said the psychological relief from acupuncture being performed one one twin can in essence transfer to the other twin under assumption that they are both strongly attached to themselves.

Only if he gets the medical bill instead of the real recipient!

It is nothing more than the placebo effect.
