The world is taken over by the Rage virus, as seen in 28 days later/28 weeks later.

Would evolution then take its course, and humans adapt to being better, smarter and faster than the humans, or would evolution not act fast enough, and humans end up wiped out ?

Your free thoughts please, .

the world will never be taken over by one rage virus

Right, So evolution takes its course and designs an immunity ?.

Right, So evolution takes its course and designs an immunity ?.

thing is those who will die, will die. But others will remain because they were immune in first place.

It also raises the question, are we stunting evolution by providing vaccinations and immunizations ?

YES WE ARE.

Natural selection would act even quicker. Those who are not fast or intelligent enough to get away from the zombies would die off, leaving those who did survive, able to pass on their genes to their offspring.

So therefore, we would be evolving over time into a faster, more intelligent, more immune species, thanks to the zombies.

But we will! Those who progress to research space flight will also be the ones that shall survive, and pass on their progressive and inventive genes.

To survive a Rage virus type thing all one needs to do is seclude themselves for approximately 6 months with people you know are not infected. Upon reentering the world do not engage in any fluid transfers with anyone you are not 100% certain has not been infected or bitten.

Though if a world wide Rage virus hit the survivors would logically be the fastest, luckiest, smartest, toughest, and most cunning people. The Genepool would be modified accordingly.

I believe a zombie virus, just as depicted in that film could potentially doom us. However unlikely the scenario, our ability to imagine it is good enough for me.

In those turbulent times of zombies eating our flesh, our best weapon will be a shotgun rather than evolution (as depicted in the film)

The idiot had to kiss his wife. The fool.

Right, so basically hole up at a high altitude (higher metabolism should require more heat and oxygen right) and ensure that you stay fit.

YES WE ARE.

If we were stunting evolution then those types of helps wouldn't be invented or found would they? So that means they were supposed to happen to help everyone so that humanity will become more diverse and therefore have a better gene pool in order to evolve .
