what kitchen gadget/appliance do you use the most? least? my most used would be: 1. microwave. 2. can opener. 3. crockpot. 4. toaster. i've never used my kitchen stove. used my coffee maker twice.
1. fridge (to store baby food) 2. stove (to heat milk for baby food I eat) 3. knife (to open baby food box) 4. spoon (to eat baby food)
Fridge/Freezer.. Stove and oven.. Microwave.. Blender and food processor.. And just about everything else.. Please Register or Log in to view the hidden image! Do you eat baby food because your teeth haven't grown in yet?
I eat it to live long after everyone I know of is dead...so that I may see the future unveil with its burgundy colors upon my full of dust of time eyes'
Just got hold of one new to me - it's a plantain squisher, basically two boards hinged along one side. You fry short cylinders of plantain, squish them endways, and fry the resultant multi-textured little pancake. It's not worth having around, of course. It snows here. Plantains are jsut very expensive and dry bananas, in this climate. We eat potatoes, here. Turnips. Rutabagas. Russian food, not Jamaican. But fried plaintains are indeed good eating. And the gadget saves a lot of hassle.
No! Draqon is not about to grow a third set of teeth and as dental prostheses cost an arm and a leg, we'll assume the soft gelatinous textured baby food causes the least amount of pyorreah! /snigger
Ewww.. Scary thing is, I have a baby and he refuses to eat bought baby food. Please Register or Log in to view the hidden image! Last time we tried, he ended up projectile vomiting it all over the place. Was the same with my eldest as well. God, draqon. If you like baby food so much, just buy the vegetables, cook it and mush it up. Much healthier than the store bought stuff and tastes nicer, especially if you put some fresh herbs in it... my 7 month old loves it when we add a dash of fresh herbs to his mush. So did my eldest actually.
Nope, not really. If it can be cooked in a microwave, its the kids eating it. Just about all the cooking I do is on the stove top or the oven. I love cooking and its kinda my down time. I don't want my down time to go by faster. Oh, can I count the grille we have outside? I use that a heck of a lot too.
Same with my daughter. She was a cheap baby. Saved us lots of money that way. She LOVED mashed potatoes. Oh, and applesauce.
kids first go into a microwave...and than they are toasted? Please Register or Log in to view the hidden image!
