    It's only conducting sound through the teeth and jawbones. This probably already occurs though not in such a specific and isolated fashion. In other words, there's nothing to worry about.

    Actually, it might be a good thing since kids typically don't brush long enough, which leads to dental caries.

    The one thing about the video that I found disagreeable, however, was the "Up! Down!" portion since this adds to the belief that one should brush up and down, which is actually bad for the gums and can lead to gingivitis.

    They test for deafness this way. They put the headphones over the ears and do the high pitch beeping,then they put something on the bone behind your ear. Bone conduction directly stimulates the inner ear, bypassing the ear canal eardrum and middle ear bones. This is how it was found that our daughter had Otosclerosis and will eventually need a stapendectomy.

    I believe the music selection available would have serious, negative effects on the brain and is probably unsafe. I take it that's what you were refering to.
