Professional flame wars are interesting. I need to go back and dig one up from not long ago that had members of The Stranger's staff actually posting pictures of fire. I just figured they were having fun with the blog, but it seems ... oh, hell, anyway: Actually, the middle part of Dominic Holden's response to Jen Graves' criticism is pretty funny, too. I just didn't think it right to reproduce the whole thing here. However, to follow the thing in order: (1) Holden, "Looking Down on the Olympic Sculpture Park" (2) Graves, "Dominic Holden, Are You High?" (3) Holden, "Private to Jen Graves" Graves, for her part, does make an interesting aesthetic argument, but still, it's just fun to watch this crew bitch and moan at each other. They do it so well. (I'll dig up the townhouse flame war from a couple weeks ago that started with a Slog entry by Jonah Spagenthal-Lee, about architecture, that I included here at Sciforums, though I don't blame anyone for not being interested in it.)
