A work day is 8 hours starting at 8am, and ending at 4pm
A work week is 5 days (Monday through Friday)

If the work week is three days starting Monday ending wednesday, and it's currently 3 pm on Monday, what equivalent time/date would it be on the 5 day work week?

I hope I'm asking this correctly :bugeye:

my sister works a 3 day week.
    it's 12 hours a day for 36 hours.
a standard work week of 5 days is 8 hours a day for 40 hours a week.
    answer your question?

oh, i have no idea how they deal with the missing 4 hours.

I give up. Because I can't work out how many hours there should be in a day. Or whether you'd need more minutes in an hour.

    Maths.

    <smacks head

Whoops--- edit-- I meant 8am Monday, not pm (accidentally turned it into a trick question) />

Easy. 3pm on Wed. means you've worked 23 of your 24-hour workweek, or 95.83% of it.

95.83% of a 40-hour workweek is 38.33 hours, so it's the same as 4.79 days. So that would be Friday at 2:32pm

^^Oh thanks-- so 3pm Monday would be 7 hours which is ~29% of 24; and thus 11 hours 40 minutes.... so it's ~11:40am on Tuesday ... at least I think my math is right.
