I've Just Realised...

I was in town before buying some meat pies when this stupid, old woman who was passing me turned and said to her friend: "You don't realise, do you?"

Honestly - those were her exact words! "You don't realise, do you?" I kid you not!!

Sciforums, I stopped, I looked at her and I thought 'OMFG, how dense are you - have you been hit repeatedly round the head with a large bat or sumthink?? Of course we realise, you gormless old fool - we realise things all the time! Christ, I've realised fifteen different things since I started this post!

People, eh! Make you vomit. Strewth. Anyway: what have you realised today?

Just, just managed to restrain myself. But boy it was close.

Anyway - what have you realised today?

 

I realised meat pies are made with offal mainly.

 

I realised that you take the ramblings of old ladies you meet on the street way too seriously.

 

But Redarmy, you don't realize, do you, that what instigated that remark never made it to earshot.

 

I realized that everyone I know will someday die. So instead of saying all of my goodbyes, I'll let them know I realize that life goes fast, and that it's hard to make the good things last. And that I realize the sun don't go down, it's just an illusion caused by the world spinning 'round.

I've said "You don't realize" to my husband lots to times. Its usually when he forgot our anniversary or didn't notice I went from a blonde to a redhead.
