Wowienatious! This is an amazing video: Kanye West -- Jesus Walks What I don't understand is why the guy, after his flaming cross falls down, picks it up and continues walking with it. Why are this guy's videos so amazing? They remind me of popular metal videos (like old Linkin Park). If I were to make such amazing songs I would also be as arrogant as Kanye...
Kanye didn't even write 'Jesus walks'. Sorry can't stand him, way tooo arrogrant. Sad news about his mum though Please Register or Log in to view the hidden image!
*Insert piled on response about what a little bitch Kanye West is. I do like the one song he has where he's jumping the grand canyon or something in the video. I just like that kind of old schoolish rap sound.
Okay, I've got a confession to make: I can't watch the video myself. I THINK it's the version with the chain gang, the children, the car chase, the Klansman, etc. I didn't notice any angels when I originally saw it (on television). Would someone please confirm that I've linked to the correct video, and not the one with the people in church? Thanks.
Dude, no matter what anyone says, you're not going to con me into watching a Kanye West video. I wasn't aware that he was one. Seriously.
Okay, was I talking to myself when I politely asked y'all to confirm the video above? It'll only take 1 minute! Please Register or Log in to view the hidden image!
Well, I'm sure someone could find a lie that would entice me to click the link. • • • Yeah, but ... it's Kanye West. And he can't touch this. Or this. Or this. (I thought I'd include that because someone suggested he was a singer.)
Tess: Allright, so its customary to deride rap artists. Ooh-hoo. And though I agree that 'rap' is a little like smearing my eardrums with motor oil, I'm not one to denounce an individual artist simply on account of his genre. I happen to find cubism distasteful, yet Duchamp's "Nude" descending the stairs is beautifully conceptualized. And so, I happen to find Tupac strikingly talented if talent is in fact what we're judging here. Jay Z and Kanye West are contemporary artists I'd put in the same category. Why not? Invert: I loved the trembling of Meyer's adam's apple. Any way I can download that without going to YouTube? Something faster to keep me for 2 weeks. Julio is mewing you, by the way.
Princess: There are good rap artists. They just tend to not be the really popular ones. Yes, there are some. One of the better rap constructions I've heard of late is by rapper Bomani Armah (D'Mite), "The Hustle". It's a really clean sound overall, enticing for its simplicity.
