What I don't understand is why the guy, after his flaming cross falls down, picks it up and continues walking with it.

Why are this guy's videos so amazing? They remind me of popular metal videos (like old Linkin Park). If I were to make such amazing songs I would also be as arrogant as Kanye...

Okay, I've got a confession to make: I can't watch the video myself. I THINK it's the version with the chain gang, the children, the car chase, the Klansman, etc. I didn't notice any angels when I originally saw it (on television).

I happen to find cubism distasteful, yet Duchamp's "Nude" descending the stairs is beautifully conceptualized.

And so, I happen to find Tupac strikingly talented if talent is in fact what we're judging here. Jay Z and Kanye West are contemporary artists I'd put in the same category.

Yes, there are some. One of the better rap constructions I've heard of late is by rapper Bomani Armah (D'Mite), "The Hustle". It's a really clean sound overall, enticing for its simplicity.
