Time capture: PikaPika

    Just found this while hunting for some information and thought it's cleverly done.

    I know it's possible to manipulate such things with certain video editing packages however I think this is actually 'Time capture' where a number of frames have been composited together to create the animation using a simple LED light.

    What do you think?

    No, its done with animation edited in over the actual video.

    I don't think so, if you look very carefully during the animation you'll notice the lines drawing the animation become intenser, this is due to the light shining more towards the camera lens creating glare. It's only at a specific angle, not something that most animators would add to their 'composite'.

    Its what animators today can do and are doing. With the advent of the new

    software that's available they can manipulate light many ways to trick your

    eyes.
