not really. Current political landscape is...have as many books of any color and greed in your house, but don't share them with many other people.

Why? I don't EVER see it happening, especially in the US. And with the internet...how would it ever happen?

I wondered if you ever noticed the spell check in the upper right hand
corner of your reply box? It is a little check thingy wit abc on the top of it. I
use it all the time for I'm worse than you at spelling and it works very well.
Not all the time but most of the time.

Nope.Never in western democracies. With more and more means to access information I doubt if any such bans would even be effective in China, Iran, etc. Perhaps a few regimes can ban a physical book but that format will soon be passe in a couple decades. Stand anywhere in the world and you'll be able pluck signals out of the air and download anything and everything.
I'm surprised you see it happening in the USA. Are you always so out of touch? Paranoid? Are you on medication?
