yes i watch anime thankyou very much and no it has nothing to do with my kiddies! i just like it, some of them are just well drawn you would be a fool not to like it. but saying that i also like the flintstones aswell. OH yeah and the jetsons.
Appleseed (and Ghost in the Shell) is simply superb. Anything by Masumune Shirow is worth getting - I've got the films and the books.

Ghost in the Shell was pretty good. The best animation IMO has to belong to Steamboy. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Steamboy The crispness, clarity and detail of the animation still has me dumbfounded. The plot was decent but I've seen better. And of course, this movie was directed by the same person who directed Akira. Did you know that when Akira came out in 1989, the animators used almost 500 colors; more colors than the available resolution of most PCs in that day? As far as great animation and great plots... Oh Shit, that is hilarious (MXC) The first time I ever saw it i was in tears and the back of my head hurt. They had to run up this course uphill, while they were throwing these really large boulders down at them LMAO, Iron Chef is another funny one! The only thing is I find, if you watch it too much it isn't that funny anymore.
