Is it true that humans want those who ignore them, and ignore those who want them? What about loving those who hurt them, and hurting those who love them?
Please explain why you believe this to be or not to be.
This is in regard to romantic type relationships.

Geez, the only people who actually want those who ignore them are those who dislike themselves or have low self-esteem. If you value yourself, you will look for those who mirror it back to you.

Also, some people like to exploit others which has nothing to do with liking a person but seeing something in them they want to use. Some people who are egotistical think everyone should like them which is just as skewed too.

Sometimes. Like girls im abusive relationships and little kids who are abused and those guys who are commonly refered to as pussy-whipped.
