we managed to go a whole winter without a snow this year, and as an added bonus its been raining on and off for the last 2 weeks, saving me from having to irrigate.

here in MI...Michigan, we love when winter comes because its always fun to go outside and ski as well as go skate. plus winter has got an awesome feeling of comfort to it...like white puffy pillows everywhere.
Inland weather is unforgiving too hot in the summer and too cold in the winter. Phila PA was murder in the summer. Here even though I am way north the weather is relatively mild and much steadier because of the proximity of the ocean and the gulf stream.
