I'll tell you exactly how I deal with the topics you (and others) listed, Brent. I completely ignore them - I just breeze right on by as if they weren't even there. There are PLENTY of people here that have nothing to talk about so they just talk about nonsense.

Yeah, there IS a lot of it. So much, in fact, that's it's a little bit of pain having to go by it looking for something intelligent to read. But it's just like dealing with any crowd of people - there's always a lot of them that talk just because they want to say something - even if it's worthless.
