I actually got to see it...it was really cool. I spent the night with my parents and had to go outside to smoke in the morning, looked up and saw it. Made me wonder what ancient people thought of a sight like that.
It sure was Pete, the light changed constantly so for every shot there are a heap of others way outside the acceptable range. It sure was a challenge! Baz.

Images of the Lunar Eclipse on Tue 28 August 2007 They piggybacked a little 5 inch Celestron with a Nikon D200 to one of the big mounts. The mount they used is actually owned by Louisville University, and can be remotely driven over the Internet in their astronomy classes.
