Why don't they make games like they used to???

What happened to all the classics?

I miss the great experience of playing old RPG games like Final Fantasy and Secret of Mana...

Now RPGs are all about 3d graphics and billions of weapons and monsters... where the heck is the story and the experience where you felt with every character weapon and even monster...?

Another thing I miss is the old LucasArts "click'n'play" adventure games like Sam'n'Max, Day of the Tentacle and not to mention Full Throttle!

they just don't make games like they used to...

As the market expands and costs (supposedly) go down, and games machines and PCs make it into the lives of more and more kids, games producers can make more and more money off catering to younger consumers. So they make games with big guns, big breasts, and simple progression. Now the first two I have no problem with, but I'd like some story now and then.
