I'd like to hear your critiques of my new and improved tax reform plan, outlined for you now according to these simple principles: 1. Taking money from productive law abiding citizens without their consent is criminal and should be abolished, regardless of whether it be income tax or sales tax. 2. Nevertheless, the government does need money, and lots of it...therefore alternative sources are required. 3. Some of the most lucretive industries are illegal drugs, the sex trade, and gambling. 4. These industries are also the least productive in terms of promoting a better quality of life for all. 5. Therefore, to address this imbalance I propose that governments take over these industries as a way of raiseing revenue, thereby turning what is least productive into a positve economic force for the general welfare of the nation (healthcare, education, infrastructure)...while at the same time removing the tax burden on the average citizen. 6. Prostitutes and Porn conglomerates would become government workers and crown corporations. 7. Government would become the only legal and primary source of recreational drugs. 8. Governments would be the only legal purveyours of all gambling activity, from lotteries to casinos. 9. Income tax and sales tax on all others sectors of the GDP would be rendered null and void.
