Does anyone know of a way to find out the owner of a cell phone if you know their number? I see many sites for reverse lookups for cell phones but they charge almost 100 bucks. All of the free reverse phone number sites have a fee after you put in the phone number. [advertisements removed] or any of that stuff does not work since you have to pay to get a report. Are there any ACTUAL free ones out there?
Call the number and ask. If you have the phone and want to know who it belongs to, try calling the company and explaining the situation. Tell them that you'll mail it in provided that you get free shipping.
I guess that depens on which country you live in? Maybe, there's a service in your country where you can look it up. In Sweden there's a free homepage called Eniro, you just enter the number and get the name, address, etc.
If you're in the USA ask a cop friend. Depending on the seriousness of your reason, you could ask someone in gov. I was tempeted to delete this after I saw the OP is brand new anon with no personal info. Hmmm....
