Like the tattoo addiction thread i want to know what people think of piercings i have 5 piercings (not including my 3 holes in my ears) so i have 8 altogether!! what do you all think of them, is it like a form of self abuse, or can they look nice? Self abuse; not exactly. Just really tacky and ugly, and I believe in keeping a body as natural as possible.

I used to like the tiny little shiny thing above a girls lip, but they're all over the place now. Seeing a Ferrari now and again is cool, but you see hundreds of Fords a day. I haven't got the guts to do it, but a prince albert would be pretty cool.
its not that bad actually, (well for me anyway) i pull on a pair of jeans and t shirt and i am ready to go!! but when you first have your piercings, yes, they take a lot of looking after you have to wash them with, i would suggest, salt water but its not that bad,

A friend of mine went out with a guy who was into body piercing. He looked like a walking bolt section of a hardware store. One night, quite a while ago, we decided to go out for drinks and while sitting in a club with music blaring, I saw my husband start to choke on his drink and then look slightly scared as her boyfriend was talking to him. It seems that her boyfriend was telling my husband about the piercings in his doodle and how he has to sit to pee, because if he did not, it would spray in about 8 different directions. The night ended early when he then asked my husband if he wanted to go to the men's room so he could show him how cool it was.

Oh em gee! I love piercings! I go get one, and then as soon as its done healing i'm out to get another! I currently have 17 holes from piercings lol -6 hip microdermals (3per side) -Tripod on my navel -Ears (Helix, both sides - Oribital, both sides - Then 1 on each lobe which i've stretched to 00Gauge) && i definatley don't think it's self-abuse... i love it, it's thrilling, the adrenalie just feels amazing...! && some piercings will look good on some people and others won't, so they can look good or bad... I don't think i'll ever understand how people get they're genetailia pierced... =\ My first thought that comes to mind is how do you have sex? lol =S (but this is just what i think) haha =]
I have 6 regular ear piercings and my first hole is gauged at 1/2in. I have my nose pierced as well. I don't think there is anything wrong with them. I've done them all myself, I don't think that was smart though.

I think they look cool. I have a labret and a septum ring. I'm considering an eyebrow piercing but I think it might make me look male...
