Michael Moore's new movie, "Sicko," is “Sicko.”

My name is Reality and I DO-NOT want to be cured, or saved.

My Only Wish. My Health Care Directive.

    My Name is Reality:
If I am ever unable to choose for myself then my only choice: if it takes a bullet in my head to spare my body from being poisoned with drugs and abused and tortured with operations then I will choose that bullet every time – WITHOUT RESERVATION.

For the educated idiots, like Michael Moore, who dare question the sanity of this, my only wish, My Health Care Directive, I will elaborate.

I have practiced as an MD Anesthesiologist for over 25 years to be certain of only one thing: the Medical Profession, MD-racket, is such a SUPER-RACKET that it makes the gambling, prostitution and drugs of so called “organized crime” look not only respectable but indeed pristine and pure.

Health-insurance is the Catch22 that makes the MD-racket into the Super-Racket: Health-insurance is just the bank/tax that the MD-racket needs to keep robbing blind to be a better Super-racket.

A Super-racket in which research's only purpose its to make the MD-racket an even better super-racket.
A super-racket in which the only time the death rate drops is when MDs go on strike.
A super-racket in which over half of the admissions to hospitals is due to MD botches. Which just scratches the surface to tell us that without MDs we would be at least twice as healthy, and probably twice as rich.

A super-racket in which time and time again it has been proven that the less MDs there are the healthier their population: so much so that disease is far more than just directly proportional to the number of MDs. And then some. Today the super-racket has reached new-heights because there is a shortage of MDs so the super-racket has all sorts of “Health-care providers” whose only standard of excellence has to do with ordering the most expensive tests with a reckless abandon that goes way beyond the malpractice that shackles MDs... and writing prescriptions far faster and more legibly than MD's.

A super-racket in which every drug and operation ends up causing far more disease and death than it could ever avoid.
A super-racket in which all tests are routinely customized for the insurance carrier and only by accident for the patient.
A super-racket in which double-billing occurs only if triple-billing fails.
A super-racket that makes both the costs and casualties of the Military/War -- Cartel/Industry insignificant by comparison.
A super-racket in which the best drugs and even food-additives and operations cause the best addictions, most organ-failures, disabilities, deformities, diseases and deaths.
A super-racket in which the poisons and toxins that both the FTC and FDA guarantee that legally only the MD-racket can call "cures" work so well to cause addictions, cancers, deformities, disabilities, diseases that they make the Tobacco Industry's nicotine look like a blessing from the Virgin Mary.
A super-racket that is unlike the past when people were hijacked to be sailors and slaves, because today people, and also decaying bodies, are hijacked to donate their organs.
A super-racket in which organ-transplant MDs could teach vultures and hyenas how to excel.
A super-racket whose standard of excellence manifests itself as malpractice.
A super-racket that claims that the cause of over 90% of all trauma, violence and incarceration is actually a cure.

A super-racket that lawyers, and idiots like Michael Moore, push to new heights with the assumption that for MDs there is a practice that is not malpractice.

A Super-racket that goes so far beyond the concept of “racket” that it cannot be taken seriously because it has to be a joke.
A joke that is so funny that it takes a bullet in the head to explain: The only way to cure MD's is to kill their health-insurance.
A joke that is so funny that only religion's ancient-scripts written prophetically and specifically for Hollywood can be funnier by comically telling us that – no matter how well it works -- a bullet in the head can never be a choice.
A joke that even god has to laugh at as long as he cannot manifest himself to mankind as a man because theologians can thoroughly rape virgins to father their bastards better.

    -- Reality.

A bullet instead of health care? Suit yourself.

Of course the number of diseased will increase if more people are alive to get the diseases. Dead people don't get sick.

If Sicko is anything like Bowling for Columbine, I wouldn't put much stock in it.

I don't get your point. One would think from your diatribe that health care reform was necessary to take the profit motive out of it, and stop insurance companies from dictating what a doctor can do.

    Boycott health-insurance

When a dog get rabies then there is only one choice - shoot it.
HEALTH INSURANCE is the Rabies/CANCER/syphilis of the Health-system -- kill it and doctors would then be forced to take care of patients instead of their pockets.

Health Insurance makes the Health System work exactly like the Roman Church worked during the Dark Ages: It claimed to be working for Christ/God by doing the work of the devil with its torture/Inquisitions.

As long as Health Insurance runs the health-system it will feed off itself like a cancer... its drugs and operations make the Tobacco Industry's nicotine look like a blessing from the Virgin Mary.

If you want to reform the health-system then refuse to pay for health-insurance: spend it on booze and cigars, take a trip ... if you get sick then you will only get the health-care that you need to get you out of the hospital, which has ALWAYS been a far more dangerous place to be than a war-zone.

What is really sick about Health Insurance: if you really get sick // if the health-system gets you sick enough // you still go bankrupt after they have poisoned and tortured you -- even if you have health insurance -- SO WHY HAVE IT - SPEND IT and HAVE FUN.

Interesting, are you in private practice or institutional practice?

We have more disease care here than health care. I believe in 'preventative medicine'.

Or we could just have government health insurance that doesn't interfere with doctoring. I don't mind if doctors get paid very well.

Preventive medicine is important. That is why doctors in good healthcare systems get bonuses for convincing people to stop smoking and doing other unhealthy habits. Paying the doctor a bonus costs less than treating the disease of people with unhealthy habits. Too bad in the USA, insurance companies give bonuses and promotions to people that are good at denying services.

Accepting a bonus from a company (pharma/biotech/etc.) is a conflict of interest. I do not know of any institution that provides bonuses for the MD doing what they are supposed to do. There are good and bad people in every field/occupation, hopefully people research and make informed decisions when finding a health care provider.

We have a nation of fat, lustful, gluttonous slobs eating themselves to death and driving up the costs of health care for everybody. As it is written:

"But every man is tempted, when he is drawn away of his own lust, and enticed. Then when lust hath conceived, it bringeth forth sin: and sin, when it is finished, bringeth forth death." - James 1:14-15

Sicko is way better than Bowling for Columbine, which I didn't finish because it was too much yellow journalism. Sicko shows that Republican ignorance is the biggest culprit, as usual, for the bad state of health care in the US.

Michael Moore is amazing, and so are his documentaries. Bravo to a man who has the testicular fortitude to make such controversial movies and question his country, yet in a very educational and fashionable way.

A men among American men, I say.

If other countries have so much better health systems than America how come almost ever single new drug comes from here? How come foreigners from all over come here to get their medical needs met? The best isn't usually cheap. Maybe that's part of why its the best. If Michael Moore wants to rant about the healthcare system fine, I'll bet dimes to donuts he doesn't go to Cuba or any other Communist country to get his heart bypass surgery when he eats one too many big macs. Any takers?

um cause our government has created a systems where the drug companies can create drugs have them still have serious side effects and let them be approved by the fda. on a side note why does it seem most drugs have anal seepage as a side effect its almost if they things into the drugs just to get that side effect

That's the problem isn't it? If you can't afford health care, you only get treated in an emergency. The pharmecutical companies are a big part of the problem. I don't deny their technical abilities to create new drugs, but if profit is your only concern, then people suffer.

Poor people where I live get welfare where everything gets covered except for cosmetic elective stuff and viagra. Profit is a powerful motive for companies to do R&D. Can you think of a more compelling reason Pfizer would spend so much time, energy, and money researching new drugs and bringing them to market?
