This is a hard question for me to answer. I don't like spending extended amounts of time with people - and not only that, there is no guarantee they would enjoy spending a week with me. One thing that would make it easier is if we were working on something together (I couldn't just hang out with them for a week and shoot the breeze all day long.....we need a mutual project to keep us busy).


Hmmm......so one whole week huh......

My first choice would be hanging out with someone who owns/operates a telescope, and spending a week sorting through data from something exciting.

I suppose my tastes are odder than yours, as my first thoughts were all historical figures, Frederick the Great, Emilie du Chatelet, Napoleon, Benjamin Franklin, Maurice de Saxe, Einstein (not Newton though, as who wants to spend a week with a temperamental jerk). Emelie du Chatelet, I suppose, could satisfy my intellectual curiosity as well as (by all accounts) being notoriously easy.
