The term " SOCK PUPPET" I have heard it alot, I think I get itPlease Register or Log in to view the hidden image! Does it mean you make another account for yourself under a different name? or is there more to it? And these get banned? how? by finding out they are sent from the same IP address?

A sockpuppet is used when a user generates another account and posts using that account. This is often down to carry on thread conversations so they are unending, also many use it to create fake arguments over topics. ToR is one female that used it to evade capture...umm there are others, I am technically one but was given leanicy for being a dork :L
\Hi Shroty well kind of but i think they can track your IP. i tried it once with a sock puppet called liyana, to play a trick on the One Van baron maximus and an old Mod called goofy fish, wacked me down big style!! ~~~~~~~~~~ take it ez zak

no you cant. we have given exception to this rule a few times, but if a problematic poster is banned, then creates a sock and continues the exact same posting style, they will be banned again(and IP banned iff possible)
