Your life is a symphony, and you are the conductor. The first time I used this metaphor was 5 years ago when I was in front of a desk each day putting together paperwork. I used to be in front of a computer, on the phone, on the notepad, on the fax, on the copy machine, talking to staff. Doing a gazillion things at once. Whenver I went out, people asked me what I did for a living, and I would tell them I conducted a symphony. Today I had all these tasks, and realized I did the same thing for all aspects of my life to keep it in proper harmony. I truly believe that harmony in life totally depends on your ability to conduct it for the symphony that it is. If it is not in harmony, it is in some form of discord or schizophrenia. You may not be clinically schizo, but your symphony maybe so schizo that it would make nails on a chalkboard sound like heaven.
