I donĀ“t think these are avatars, but they definately can be used as one. And it fits the topic Please Register or Log in to view the hidden image! http://andree.blogs.sapo.pt/arquivo/fo_gato10.jpg http://i35.photobucket.com/albums/d154/dynachrome/Matrix20cat.jpg http://www.casafree.com/modules/xcgal/albums/userpics/15993/normal_matrix_cat.jpg

I saw that you posted in this thread and I was just about to ask where your avatar is! Basically, you can search Google for an Avatar that is 60x60 or smaller. Or you can take one of your own photos and resize it to 60x60 or less. Then click on "user cp" and then click on "Edit avatar."
Type that backwards in Mandarin chinese and he still won't have the faintest idea what you're talking about. Actually, I think.. Oh well. You know what I mean..
Avatar is that little picture beside your name? If so, I want to find a M1-A1 Tank firing it's main battle gun! Now, what's 60x60 mean? And how do I know? Who do I ask? Can you retype all of that in backwards Mandarin ...might actually make more sense to me. Please Register or Log in to view the hidden image! Baron Max
Please Register or Log in to view the hidden image! Maybe this? This is the best I can do with that I found.
60x60 refers to the size of a picture. Well, one particular kind of size measured in pixels. a picture of 60x60 pixels would therefore be 60 pixels high and 60 pixels wide. Now you may ask what a pixel is. A pixel is a single point in a graphic image. The lowest subdivision. Computer screens have a certain resolution. Nowadays 1280 x 1024 pixels is rather standard for a screen. As you can imagine a picture sized 60x60 only fills a small part of your screen.
I remember a poster by the name of Baron Max on another forum that had an avatar virtually identical to the one you just posted for him. Funny that huh? Please Register or Log in to view the hidden image!
Really? Heh. I searched for an M1-A1 Tank on Google, copied the picture, and then cropped it in Photoshop. But hey... at least that Baron Max could figure out how to do it on his own Please Register or Log in to view the hidden image! I always use the largest resolution I can. Currently I am running 1680x1050.
No, it wasn't exactly the same, Bells. I liked that one, but someone else did it for me ...a little kid that used to live next door. When he moved out, my computer "skills" when to hell quickly! But I don't frequent that other place ...too much idealism and psycho-babble for me. Baron Max
I know how to turn my computer 'on' and 'off', then click a few icons on my screen. More than that is ...well, highly questionable, not to mention creating tremendous nervous tension. But, really, thanks for the thought. Baron Max
Yea, my message didn't add anything useful. How about this: I am on a laptop with a 15.4" WSXGA+ TFT LCD that runs best at 1680 x 1050 resolution, which is the highest that I can go. If I had the option to run even higher, I would as long as circles look like circles and I can read text.
