Tom Beardon is a well known crackpot. You would know that if you knew anything about science. You are therefore placing this thread in the wrong forum. It belongs in pseudoscience.

Could the moderator please remove this crap from this forum. Thank you.

Ever read Songs of a Distant Earth?

Are they talking about dark energy?

It is correct that Truthseeker has no idea what they're talking about.

However, it is not dark energy they are referring to on the website. They are referring to zero point energy which is energy that is extracted from the vacuum of space. Although this energy does exist, it is in extremely small amounts. Certainly not enough to tap into for any useful purposes.

Perpetual machines and free energy devices violate laws of thermodynamics.

Everyone is a well known crackpot for you...

Why is that always with you? Why do you always manage to 'seek' out the crackpots and the trash?

Are we going to have to start referring to you as Trashseeker?

I know what I'm talking about...

Dark matter CAN be this energy from the vacuum...

Man, I really hate to take a stab at this, but I looked at his "device." I even poked through the actual patent. Its all a little crazy. It reminds me of something my brother sent to me a while back, along with several "lol"s to follow:

Be sure to check out the schematic.

    "an everlasting kind of energy..."

all energy is everlasting, which makes this sounding lil funny

for the dark energy, I know Bearden is thinking that the biggest component of EM which is never taken account of, explains the missing energy ... I don't know, i don't think the universe is expanding at all so ... besides, Bearden talks and talks and yaps but never shows anything. There's better stuff than "his" MEG (it's not even of him!) around.

For the record, Tom Bearden's claims are disprooved by experiment.

(Q), Naudin (of the second link) is certainly not a crackpot.

If you want to, you can reproduce it yourself. But that takes effort of course ... it's easier to say they're all crackpots.

    Twice in one night

Some one just asked about the OP on Snopes mailing list. The other resident physicists where scornful, to say the least.

The maths posted chucks in everything from metrics, tensors, lie group algebra and Yang-Mills theory to Abelian groups. All very technical sounding. But I've neve heard of the journal they use to publish.

Some thing this important would be in Physical Review D or Nature. Not some minor rag published out of Budapest.

No it can't. The Casimir effect is very minor and a result of quantum mechanics, virtual particles causing a pressure on plates in a vacuum. This is not dark matter or dark energy. They are unknowns, new physics, ZPE is not unless you are a crackpot.

Th "the abelian operator of a non-hermitian matrix orthogonal to the Ordinary groups of order 3's complex conjugate multiplied by the jacobian of the Christoffel symbol proves it" ed

    thed,

As you said... this physic is too new...
We need more time to understand it before stating what's right and what's wrong...

The reason the experiment was done is that the idea was proposed. It's not that new. Dark matter has been known about since around 1970. Lot's of ideas bounced around since then.

    Tedman"Xp",

Supposedly empty space. But there's no actual empty space in the Universe.

There have never been empty space...
Not completly empty space. For example, you can consider air an empty space. But you know that there are trillions of atoms around, don't you.

There is no empty space as the Universe is just an ocean of energy.

    Love,
