    ... do you think people chould start naming exo planets (even when their not yet discovered) our are names like Gliese 876 d still apropriate

    You know, when I first read the title of ths post, I thought it might be about the planet once thought to exist inside Mercury's orbit, and believed to be the cause of Mercury's precession.

    rechearge (well wiki) indicates that if there was a body larger then 60 km wide it would have been discovered by now but then again a good name is a good name and it's better then some of the other proposed names like xena. Imagen a millinea from now if people start colonizing a planet named Paris in the hilton system.
