Please tell me the best philosophy websites. Places to read about philosophy and things like this. Please post things that would fit this subject matter.
I wouldn't really get philosophical information from the Internet. It might be better to visit your local library.
I am sure there are reliable sites. I have all of the books on philosophy I am currently interested in. I would prefer internet.
Hah! Well, I don't know what area of philosophy you're interested in reading about. Politics? Metaphysics? Aesthetics? Perhaps you'd rather read about popular philosophies like Marxism, Buddhism, Taoism, Objectivism... ? I'm sure there are thousands of credible and intelligable web sites out there.
Ya for this one you need to read real books. Most site are just "quote" sites cherry picking the best aphorism of the great minds.
I want to read the big stuff. The important stuff. The "good" stuff. Critiques of philosophy. The importance of wittgenstein. I am looking for the value here. post anything in this thread that is relevant to this issue. Books included.. Ha!
Critiques? Big Stuff? So you've tried Nietzsche right? Wittgenstein was pretty convinced he solved everything with one book huh? I Guess it's possible...

yeah wikipedia is where i read most philosophy online, truthseeker just posted a good link to me in the taoism thread in eastern philo section. i was reading it a little while ago, peace.
