This is the funniest website I've been to in a while. It's about two Asian college graduates who are angry that nobody wants Asian men. Asian girls don't want Asian men and white girls don't want Asian men. And really, nobody wants Asian men. It's funny, because I have actually thought about this before. I've literally thought, at some point, "Damn, Asian men really get a raw deal if you think about it." And it turns out I was right. It really sucks being an Asian guy--other than being smart, good at engineering, math and otherwise having a larger brain.
Think about when you see an interracial couple. A white/yellow couple. More than likely, it's an Asian girl with a white guy. A black/white couple. Usually a black guy and a white girl. Black guys get the white girls. White guys get the Asian girls. What about the Asian guys? What do they get? Ever seen an Asian guy with a black girl? I never have. But I suppose it happens.
Why do you think this happens?

I know! I found it last night and was glued to it. I couldn't stop laughing out loud. The guys are quite comedic. The best part is not knowing whether what you're reading is meant to be funny or if it's just Asian men being their plain sad selves.
It's actually written by two Asian guys who have both by dumped by their Asian girlfriends who then proceeded to get white boyfriends.

It's weird. I'm not saying this is always true, but it seems that Asian men and black women have something in common. No one wants them. Black guys like white girls. But you can't really say that white guys are attracted to black girls to the same extent. I've seen it, but it's not as common. And it doesn't seem as though black men like black women that much either. Look at their illegitimacy rates. Black women get the shaft and so do Asian men.

i actualy am alot more attracted to black girls/mixed race girls/asian girls. than white girls white women are at the bottom of my list actualy,
black girls and mixed race are at the top,

but the average oriental guy i know what you mean, you dont see many other races with them usualy, this site is to funny i cant stop reading it but i have to go out! damn you.
do we mean asian as oriental only? or asian as in india pakistan included, because i see plenty of pakistani/indian guys/girls with other races everyday,

I also told them they should publish it, because they will get rich and famous and have all the white, black and asian girls fawning all over them.
I honestly think it is brilliantly funny, full of great insights and just edgy enough to stir up some controversy.
I think it would be a best seller.

The asian men are not so unpopular here with the blond girls in the teenage-20 years segment of the dating business. That's mainly because they dress more flashy and such. Well, i speculate that it is because of that. However, past the adolescent stage there doesn't seem to be much action.

While an Asian guy with a white girl isn't that common, I constantly see Asian guy-girl couples here in Australia.
No doubt white girls are turned off Asian guys because they find their continuous whining nauseating.

I don't think it's necessary to refer to the Virginia Tech shooter because he's asian and not getting laid. Cho Seung-Hui was screwed up in the head just like the Columbine shooters and probably would've done something stupid regardless. A lot of people will find attractiveness from what they perceive as being hot regardless of race...but I'm not disagreeing with you though, I know what you mean.:D

Those posts you're responding to were made long before I took over this board, but if I had been here I would have deleted some of them. I've been living and working in the Washington DC area for several years and the Virginia Tech rampage is a very painful issue for the people here. It's like the New York Fire Department after 9/11: people who don't even know where Virginia Tech is are cheering for their football team and wearing their t-shirts.
Of course the issue of culture clash couldn't help being discussed. We Americans are a rough-hewn people and we talk about damn near anything. But in some traditional Asian families, it is very difficult for people to bring up sensitive personal situations. Naturally this is a formula for disaster when the children are stuck on the boundary between two much different cultures, being pulled both ways.
But to make jokes about the personality or sexuality of all men or all women of a certain ethnic group is a little too rude while this wound is so raw. I'm from Los Angeles and I know very well that Asian-Americans are often quite happy to make jokes about their own community. But not here and not now.
Let's just let it slide and allow those posts to fade into history. If I have to, I'll lock the thread.

However, I work with a few Asian girls who live in Silicon Valley(Asians make up about 60% of the population). And they're 110% committed to their Asian men. And these girls are drop dead gorgeous. Trust me, I've tried to date a few, and they refuse to date outside of their race.

Asian-Americans are legendary for being the most conservative immigrant group, yet they have an out-marriage rate of about 25%. It's much higher in the American-born generation.
The one thing that you will run into is culture clash. The kinds of small talk and flirtatious banter that are taken for granted in your own community may fall flat with someone from another culture. The best thing to do is let your guard down, drop all pretenses, be candid and talk about real stuff.
Besides, if somebody doesn't like you, they must have really bad judgment, so what do you need them for?:)

Yeah, no kidding. Probably the hottest race of human males are Japanese males. In the "highest potential, just a slab of meat" sort of way. I'm actually attracted to Japanese males more than Japanese females, strangely enough.

That's one of the characteristics that damages their self-esteem thereby holding them back, and it pertains directly to what the people linked in the original post are talking about.
The best thing to do is let your guard down, drop all pretenses, be candid and talk about real stuff.
Let's apply that to the current situation too.

I'm just being imperious and deleting all references to an event that is still a very sore open wound in my region, because they seem to gather responses that verge into racism. Not yours but the next one will. If I were back home in California listening to Asian-Americans call each other "Buddha-heads" I probably wouldn't think twice, but I know people here who were closer to that event than to 9/11 and I get weary of hurting for them. Yes I saw the South Park episode about the small penises.
I'd really like the word "Culture" in the title of this subforum have a slightly nobler meaning and be a little more about movies, literature, music, portraits, architecture, etc. If you want to talk about sociology, biology, psychology and world events, each one of those -ologies has its very own subforum! That stuff doesn't need to be posted here.
I'm not going to continue to be a dick and if you've seen the Linguistics subforum you know that I'm not very strict about staying on topic. I'm just sensitive about this one discussion and after reviewing the thread I saw that it did indeed go over the line into racism a couple of times, something about which I am draconian.
So humor me. I'll get over it.

The women are having none of it.There's a tremendous surplus of young males in China because so many parents abort female fetuses due to the one-child policy. So it isn't so much that the women don't want Chinese men; it's that the competition is so fierce that they don't have to settle for any but the best.
The suicide rate among young Chinese men is skyrocketing. And any woman who is willing to be a prostitute can make a fortune.
Always be careful of second-order effects. Or as it's often said, "You can never do just one thing."
You may be thinking of Japan. That's where the women are so fed up with the "traditional" males and the way they treat their wives and families, that they're choosing to remain single. They're even lusting after Korean men, which is a remarkable change in attitude in that country.
