Anyone familiar with this sereoies? There is a channel called Chiller and they show it like back to back. What i want to know is the years it originally ran, was it critioclally acclaimed and what do you guys think aboiut it. i used to watch this show every friday night when i was a kid. think "the twilight zone", but in color, and 1980's style.

The series began as a half hour show in 1955, later it was extended to one hour and the last show was aired in 1965. Alfred Hitchcock actually directed only 17 of the 270 episodes produced. Hitchcock was a master of suspense and directed some classic movies starting in the twenties.
Thanks. I see that they (chiller channel) have the early ones (black and white) and the later ones but i am not sure the last one was in 1965 , today i saew one fr. the '80s w\ Alfred doing the intro and closing.
