Snow didn't lie. The resolution authorizing force against Iraq makes a link between 9/11 and al Qaeda in Iraq, not between 9/11 and Saddam or the Iraqi government. You gotta think like a criminal!
What I specially hate about Snow is that he tries to DEBATE questions. That is not his job. Answer the question please, with a lie if he wishes, but no debates. He was talking generally about the WH when he said: He insisted “there has been no attempt to try to link Saddam to September 11.”
When pressed, he'd say "I was talking about Bush, not others in the administration". Just playing devil's advocate. I agree he's a liar. But then that would be the thousandth blatant lie so far by the Bush admin.
